Introduction


Auqaf Department is an Autonomous Body of the Provincial Government. It generates its income from waqf properties i.e. commercial and agricultural. The basic objective of this department is to manage and generate its resources from commercial and Agricultural Waqf Properties.

The income generated is utilized on the repair/maintenance,construction of Masajid, Shrines under the administrative control of Auqaf Department.

It executes a religious, welfare and charitable activities besides, payment of salaries to the staff of the Department.

The Auqaf Department is headed by the Chief Administrator and supporting staff i.e. Administrator Auqaf. The Admnistrator Auqaf handles day to day affairs of the Department.
